SCHOOL RENOVATION

ÇORUM, SUNGURLU, EŞME   17 Ağustos 2013 - 31 Ağustos 2013

GEN-27, bu yıl ilk kez kamp yaptığımız Çorum’un Sungurlu İlçesi’ndeki ilk kampımızdı. Eşme Köyü’ndeki kampta İÖO’nun çevre düzenlemesi yapıldı. Toplam 7 gönüllünün katıldığı kampta liderliği Cansu Yetişgin yaptı.

KAMP TANIMI :

GEN-27 SCHOOL RENOVATION SUNGURLU–CORUM 17.08 – 31.08 RENO 10 VOLS

A small primary village school needs your help to look better. Esme village will host international volunteers to realize this. You will have a chance to see the real traditional village life in this camp. A local scout group will assist the volunteers at work and free times. A trekking and orienteering competition with the scouts will be organized in the free days.

W: Paving the garden of the school, painting in and outside walls of the old school, drawing pictures on the kindergarden’s wall.

A: In the rooms of the school, toilet and shower are shared. Sleeping bag and mat are necessary. No alcohol is allowed at the project site.

F: Volunteers will prepare their own breakfast with the given food. Lunch and dinners will be supplied by a catering factory. Locals may offer some dinners in their houses as well.

LO: Esme is a small village of Sungurlu town in central Anatolia with a population of 800. The nearest city is Corum.

T: Istanbul.

The project will start in Istanbul with a compulsory orientation meeting that all volunteers should attend on the first day of the camp. The group will travel together to the camp site by an overnight coach on the same evening.
